The Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122), Government of the Punjab, has announced internship opportunities for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Interns for the year 2026. Applications are invited from eligible candidates having educational backgrounds in nursing, paramedical, or allied health sciences.
This internship program offers hands-on emergency medical training along with a monthly stipend and is conducted under the supervision of Rescue 1122.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2nd Division in:
- Nursing
- Paramedical
- Allied Health Diploma or Degree
- Qualification must be obtained from a recognized board, council, or university
- Punjab domicile is mandatory
- Age between 18 and 30 years
Medical & Physical Standards
- Vision: Minimum 6/6 eyesight in each eye (without glasses)
- Color blindness, obesity (BMI 30 or above), Hepatitis B & C, HIV, or RPR positive candidates may be disqualified
- Minimum height preference: 5 feet 6 inches
- Minimum chest size: 33 inches
- Local residents (as per CNIC) will be given preference

Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, DG Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khanewal, Khushab, Lahore, Layyah, Lodhran, Mianwali, Multan, Murree, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Taunsa, and Vehari.

Selection Process
The recruitment process includes:
- Online application through Central Testing Service (CTS)
- Written test and psychological assessment
- Physical and medical examination
- Final interview at Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore
- Mandatory Basic Rescue Training at Emergency Services Academy, Lahore
